Botany Bay is situated in the town of Broadstairs in Kent.
It is considered to be one of the hidden gems along the South East coastline and when it is low tide allows for you to venture out onto the beach and gaze at the endless views of white cliffs and chalk rocks.
There is a huge variety of rock pools formed along the stoney and rocky beach and this makes for excellent rock pool fishing and exploring. This would definitely be within one of our top ten things to do in Kent and is an excellent day out for families, children and enthusiasts.
The location is also ideal for keen nature and wildlife photographers or for those wishing to capture the idyllic coastline itself.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach from 1st May to 30th September
