Dungeness beach is situated near Lydd in Kent.
It has a vast expanse of shingle on the edge of Romney Marsh which has an almost surreal quality.
As you look out to see on a good day you will see towards Dover, Look the other way and the landscape is interrupted by 2 large light houses and the looming Nuclear power station.
Nearby is Dungeness Nature reserve which is home to a wide selection of vegetation and wildlife.
You will also find several Restaurants and Bars nearby for some Fish & Chips by the beach.
As you walk along the beach you will see endless wooden cottages and dwellings.
There is an abundance of shells across the beach making this the perfect location for a beach walk with the children and dog.
The area by the lighthouse has lots of shingle beach and fishing boats to see and walk around
