Viking Bay beach is situated in the town of Broadstairs along the Kent coastline.
The beach is in the shape of a crescent moon and mainly sand. It can be steep in places to get down to but has a lift which is operational from 1st May through 30th September.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach during summer months (1st May to 30th September) but can visit during other seasons.
Deck chairs can be hired throughout the summer and there is also a clifftop promenade. Walk further along for the small harbour and fishing boats which are still in use.
Beautiful Beach huts are the backdrop for the beach which is overlooked by Bleak House as featured in the Dickens novel.
